polishing the family jewels.

Out of pure boredom/curiousity, I decided to try out something I've been seeing everywhere now:neon jewelry. I love the pop of color but haven't been able to really find any pieces I loved in stores, so I figured I'll make them myself. All you need is some cheap nail polish and a steady hand.

A very simple yet tedious process, I found this little project to be a success, and a little addicting. I started off with just two pairs of vintage rhinestone earrings and ended up jazzing up an old brooch and necklace, too.

  3. It's seriously addicting once you get started! I tried using a clear top coat to finish it, but instead I would reccommend a shine spray to really make the jewels sparkle!
