Baby Dino

This weekend I experienced one of the most exciting and rewarding things imaginable. I became an aunt to a beautiful baby boy. Born nine pounds, nine ounces, 22 inches long, and having both Sicillian and Greek blood in him, it's safe to say little Dino Loukas is one of the cutest babies known to mankind.

Let the baby clothes shopping begin.

There's nothing that would make me happier than to wake up tomorrow morning and find all of this in my closet just waiting to be worn.

polishing the family jewels.

Out of pure boredom/curiousity, I decided to try out something I've been seeing everywhere now:neon jewelry. I love the pop of color but haven't been able to really find any pieces I loved in stores, so I figured I'll make them myself. All you need is some cheap nail polish and a steady hand.

A very simple yet tedious process, I found this little project to be a success, and a little addicting. I started off with just two pairs of vintage rhinestone earrings and ended up jazzing up an old brooch and necklace, too.
